We have been developing our own sound since the very beginning. We strive to auditorily showcase your ideas by creating a powerful listener experience, evoking emotion through sound and music. We specialize in custom work but also have an extensive library of sounds and compositions to choose from. We look forward to helping you push your vision and concept to the next level. 

We aspire to help you find YOUR album sound. We are OBSESSED with getting the best possible recording of any instrument or vocal. We have a unique collection of recording equipment including gear from Neve, SSL, Neumann, Trident, Universal Audio, and Apogee. We also utilize the highest quality microphones; providing sounds from the shimmering crystal clear, to the warm and silky, to the dark and obscure. The studio is also equipped with a large collection of rare and unique instruments including a wide variety of vintage analog synthesizers, vintage American guitars, basses, and acoustics, an original 1964 Ludwig drum kit, and a full percussion setup. 

Our mixing process has been refined over the past 20 years to provide a uniquely cultivated sound of its own. We have developed our ears to showcase the artistry and song writing capabilities of our artists and know how to make their recordings shine.  Our fully analog signal path utilizes the highest possible quality and is supported by a staggering variety of outboard effects, dynamics processors, and analog equalizers.   

At KEA we believe that mastering is a critical step in achieving the best overall sound of a project.
